7.   A one of  250 "poster catalogues" for the Institute of Contemporary Arts, London, June 14-July 12, 1950 Joyce Exhibition, listing 219 of the 611 items previously shown at La Hune.  Mounted on foam board.

Poster published by Downtons Ltd., Great Britain, designed by Richard Hamilton CH (1922-2011), the "Father of Pop Art" in Britain, whose Ulysses drawings are in the British Museum, and who is perhaps best known for designing the Beatles' White Album.

Poster Includes "The Approach to James Joyce," an essay by T. S. Eliot (which first appeared in The Listener, October 1, 1943), and a 1949 Eliot note that also served as preface to the La Hune catalogue.  Also on the poster:

8.  Spoerri, James Fuller.  James Joyce:  Catalogue of a Collection of the Works of James Joyce Exhibited at the Newberry Library, Chicago 1948.  One of 60 signed presentation copies, this one inscribed to Joycean Charles Duff.  One hundred fifty items listed.  In wraps, stiff covers, Mylar protected.  Laid in is a 2/29/48 ALS by Spoerri to Duff, in London.
